Human Trafficking Expertise

As the creator of HumanTraffickingData.org, Vanessa has collected and analyzed over 2,000 federally-prosecuted cases on human trafficking. She has surveyed trafficking survivors, interviewed convicted traffickers in federal prisons, and estimated demand for commercial sexual services in the illicit massage industry. Her published empirical work on human trafficking has qualified her to serve as an expert witness in human trafficking litigation.
